Israel is the nation most often mentioned in the Bible. But do you know which nation is second? It is Iraq!
However, that is not the name that is used in the Bible. The names used in the Bible are Babylon, Land of Shinar, and Mesopotamia. The word Mesopotamia means between the two rivers, more exactly between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers. The name Iraq, means country with deep roots. Indeed Iraq is a country with deep roots and is a very significant country in the Bible. Here's why:

☄ചരിത്രപരമായി പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ അവനാണ് ചരിത്രത്തിന്‍റെ  ആദിയും അന്ത്യവും,

☄ഭരണകൂടം സംബന്ധിച്ച് പറഞ്ഞാല്‍ , അവന്‍ അത്ഭുത മന്ത്രി ,  വീരനാം ദൈവം,  സമാധാന പ്രഭു,  നല്ല   ആലോചനക്കാരന്‍.

☄ അവനാണ് നസ്രായനായ യേശു.

ചരിത്രം കണ്ട ഏറ്റവും നിസ്തുലനായ   വ്യക്തിപ്രഭാവം.
☄അവനു ദാസന്മാര്‍ ആരും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല, എന്നിട്ടും അവര്‍ അവനെ യജമാനന്‍ എന്ന് വിളിച്ചു.
☄ അവനു യാതൊരു കലാലയ ബിരുദവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല, എന്നിട്ടും ഗുരു എന്ന് അവര്‍ അവനെ സംബോധന ചെയ്തു.
☄ യാതൊരു വൈദ്യ ശാസ്ത്രവും അവന്‍  അഭ്യസിച്ചില്ല, മരുന്നു  ഉപയോഗിച്ചില്ല എങ്കിലും   വൈദ്യന്‍ എന്നവര്‍ അവനെ വിളിച്ചു,
☄അവനു യാതൊരു സായുധ സൈന്യവും ഉണ്ടായിരുന്നില്ല  എന്നിട്ടും   രാജാക്കന്മാര്‍ അവനെ ഭയപ്പെട്ടു .
☄യാതൊരു പോരാട്ടവും അവന്‍ നടത്തിയിട്ടില്ല  എന്നിട്ടും ലോകത്തെ അവന്‍ തന്‍റെ  അധികാര സീമയില്‍ വരുത്തി,

☄അവന്‍ യാതൊരു കുറ്റവും ചെയ്തിട്ടില്ല എങ്കിലും അവര്‍ അവനെ ക്രൂശിച്ചു. . അവര്‍ അവനെ ഒരു കല്ലറയില്‍ സംസ്കരിച്ചു,  എന്നിട്ടും അവന്‍ ഇന്നും ജീവിക്കുന്നു.

☄നമ്മെ അത്രമാത്രം  സ്നേഹിച്ച ഇങ്ങനെയുള്ള ഒരു നേതാവിനെ സേവിക്കുവാന്‍ ഞാന്‍ അത്യന്തം ഇഷ്ടപ്പെടുന്നു.   എന്നോട് ഒത്തു   ചേരുക, നാം ഒന്നിച്ചു അവനായി സേവ ചെയ്യാം.

☄ഈ ദൂത് വായിക്കുന്ന കണ്ണുകള്‍ ഒരിക്കലും തിന്മ കാണുകയില്ല.   ഈ   ദൂത് അനേകരുടെ കയ്യില്‍ എത്തിക്കുന്ന കൈകള്‍    വെറുതെ   അധ്വാനിക്കുകയല്ല. ഈ ദൂതിനു  ആമേന്‍ പറയുന്ന അധരം എന്നേക്കും  ശോഭയുള്ളത് ആയിരിക്കും , ദൈവത്തില്‍ ചാരി അവന്‍റെ  മുഖം എപ്പോഴും അന്വേഷിക്കുക,   ദൈവത്തില്‍, അഥവാ ക്രിസ്തുവില്‍ ഞാന്‍ സകലതും കണ്ടെത്തി,

☄ഈ സന്ദേശം   നിങ്ങളുടെ സ്നേഹിതരെ  നിങ്ങള്‍ അറിയിക്കുക. കര്‍ത്താവ്‌ നമുക്കുവേണ്ടി   നിവര്‍ത്തിച്ച  നീതി  സര്‍വ്വ ലോകവും അറിയട്ടെ.  

☄കര്‍ത്താതി കര്‍ത്താവും രാജാധി രാജാവുമായവനെ  ലോകം മുഴുവനും വിലമതിക്കുവാന്‍ ഇടയാകട്ടെ.

☄ഈ സദ്വര്‍ത്തമാനം   വിളംബരം ചെയ്യുവാന്‍ വിമുഖത കാണിക്കാതിരിക്കുക.

Balance is the key

1. *Noah* built the *ark* by faith but, he used measurements. There is a place for rational thinking in our walk of faith. Not all decisions should be made with blind hope!

2. *Sarah's pregnancy* was a miracle, but it took nine months just like any other. God's plans do not negate the importance of process. Sometime you need to wait or work it out.

3. The *stone* that killed *Goliath* might have been anointed, but *David's skill* was also involved. Developing skills does not mean you are not anointed. If you play a piano, play it to the fullest. Don't take us through the agony of listening to your cacophony in the name of "singing to the Lord". Skills are important. There is nothing rude with telling that sister "you can't sing, find something else to do in the house of God".

4. *Esther* received favor to become *queen*, but she also bathed and prepared her appearance. Preparation is key to become fit for the occasion. Get knowledge, go to school. Stop blaming auto-correct, check your spelling even here on social media. Prepare, because some of us expect nothing but the best from you!

5. The *promised land* was full of milk and honey, but they also had to plow, feed cattle, and take care of sheep. Miracles are communication tools that God uses to instill trust, faith and the knowledge of his nature. You need to work, don't expect miracles in a specific area of life all the time. No one pays rent for a full year with miracle money. We need it, we want it, but God wants what is permanent.

6. *God* is the one who *created human capacity* to memorize things, yet he also told many prophets to write their message. Spirituality does not mean we should not use tools to package the message.

7. *Ruth* received favor to marry *Boaz*, but the coaching of Naomi was necessary. Human coaching is necessary, you need to submit and learn from someone. It will spare you from silly mistakes.

8. *Moses* could hear directly from God, but he was wearing himself out with work, it was the wisdom of his father in law that saved him from dying a premature death with exhaustion. It is wisdom to put on a seat belt, brush teeth, and adhere to medical advise. Being spiritual does not mean asking angels to cook food for you!

9. *Namaan* was a mighty soldier and a friend of Kings, but he acted as influenced by a Jewish maiden. Even important people are influence by"insignificant"people. The key thing is proximity that generates influence.

Mishandling of the natural world can cause hinderance to progress, and a total neglect of the spiritual world will definitely cause total failure in all areas of life.

Maundy Thursday

Maundy Thursday (also known as Holy Thursday, Covenant Thursday, Great and Holy Thursday, Sheer Thursday, and Thursday of Mysteries, among other names) is the Christian holy day falling on the Thursday before Easter. It commemorates the Maundy and Last Supper of Jesus Christ with the Apostles as described in the Canonical gospels. It is the fifth day of Holy Week, and is preceded by Holy Wednesday and followed by Good Friday.

The date is always between 19 March and 22 April inclusive, but these dates fall on different days depending on whether the Gregorian or Julian calendar is used liturgically. The liturgy held on the evening of Maundy Thursday initiates the Easter Triduum, the period which commemorates the passion, death, and resurrection of Christ; this period includes Good Friday, Holy Saturday, and ends on the evening of Easter.  The Mass or service of worship is normally celebrated in the evening, when Friday begins according to Jewish tradition, as, according to the three Synoptic Gospels, the Last Supper was held on the feast of Passover, the seder; according to the Gospel of John, however, Jesus had his last supper on Nisan 14, the night before the first night of Passover.

JESUS SAVES..

A contemporary joke I've enjoyed in a while for the Lenten period !

Jesus and Satan were having an on-going argument about who was better on the computer. They had been going at it for days, and frankly God was tired of hearing all the bickering.

Finally fed up, God said, 'THAT'S IT! I have had enough. I am going to  set up a test that will run for two hours, and from those results, I will judge who does the better job.'

So Satan and Jesus sat down at the keyboards and typed away.

They moused.

They faxed.

They e-mailed.

They e-mailed with attachments.

They downloaded.

They did spreadsheets!

They wrote reports.

They created labels and cards.

They created charts and graphs.

They did some genealogy reports .

They did every job known to man.

Jesus worked with heavenly efficiency and Satan was faster than hell.

Then, ten minutes before their time was up, lightning suddenly flashed across the sky, thunder rolled, rain poured, and, of course, the power went off..

Satan stared at his blank screen and screamed every curse word known in the underworld.

Jesus just sighed..

Finally the electricity came back on, and each of them restarted their computers. Satan started searching frantically, screaming:

'It's gone! It's all GONE! 'I lost everything when the power went out!'
Meanwhile, Jesus quietly started printing out all of his files from the past two hours of work.
Satan observed this and became irate.
'Wait!' he screamed. 'That's not fair! He cheated! How come he has all his work and I don't have any?'
God just shrugged and said,

വിശ്വാസികൾ കടമ നിറവേറ്റണം, ഉത്തരവാദിത്വ ബോധം കാട്ടണം.വിശ്വാസ സംരക്ഷണത്തിന്‌ വിശ്വാസികൾക്കും ഉത്തരവാദിത്വമുണ്ട്. അവർ മൗനികളാകരുത്.
